The Lunchbox Fund is a non-profit that provides a nutritious daily school meal to children in rural townships in South Africa. This meal encourages children to attend school and enables them to concentrate and learn while they are there. Children are sustainably supported at all stages of their education – from pre-school, through to primary and secondary school and after-school programs.
The Lunchbox Fund (LBF) hosts its annual fall fundraiser in New York to support its life-saving programs. The event raises funds through ticket sales and a contemporary art auction curated by a leading artist.
For five consecutive years, Prentice Cultural Communications helped elevate this signature event by reimagining its format to create a more meaningful experience. Each year, we secured partnerships with renowned chefs to debut their new restaurants for LBF, using the power of food to give back. Partner chefs included Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Andrew Carmellini, Gabriel Kreuther, and Tom Colicchio.
Brokering relationships and nurturing those connections enabled Lunchbox Fund to provide thousands of meals to children annually, supporting quality education in under-resourced communities.
